Active Ingredient
3% (512mg) Chloroxylenol (PCMX) w/w
Purpose
Surgical Hand Scrub
Use
preoperative cleaning of healthcare personnel arms and hands. Significantly reduces the number of micro-organisms on the hands and forearms prior to surgery.
Warnings
For external use only.
OTC - DO NOT USE SECTION
Do not use if redness or irritation occurs.
OTC - WHEN USING SECTION
When using this product avoid contact with eyes.
OTC - STOP USE SECTION
Stop use and ask a doctor if severe adverse reactions occur.
OTC - KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN SECTION
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed or gets in eyes, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
Directions
- Clean under nails with nail pick
- Wet hands and forearms
- Scrub thoroughly for 3 minutes paying particular attention to the nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces
- Rinse thoroughly
- Repeat scrub for 3 more minutes
- Rinse thoroughly

- avoid excessive heat 40°C (104°F)
