PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS:

PREVENTION: Wear protective gloves. Wear eye or face protection. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Refer to Safety Data sheet (SDS).

User Safety Warnings Section


FIRST AID:

If in Eyes: Flush with large volumes of water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician immediately. If Swallowed: DO NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth promptly, then give small amount/glass of water (4-6 oz. child / 10-12 oz. adult). Avoid alcohol. Call a physician immediately. DO NOT give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. If on Skin: Flush with large volumes of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. If irritation develops and persists, get medical attention. Inhalation of Vapors: If breathing difficulty or irritation occurs, remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, get medical attention.

Indications & Usage Section


INDICATIONS:  This topical liquid product, when properly mixed with Velocity Part B  and used as a pre/post teat dip, effectively aids in reducing the spread of organisms that cause mastitis.

Dosage & Administration Section


DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only when properly mixed with Velocity Part B. Always prepare mixture in a well-ventilated area. Add 1 part of Velocity Part B to 55 parts of Velocity Part A. Mix thoroughly. Once mixed, product can remain effective for up to 7 days. 

PRE-DIPPING: Before milking, dip each teat with Velocity. After 15 to 30 seconds, dry each treat thoroughly with a single service towel. If the udder and teats are heavily soiled, wash with a sanitizing solution and dry before application of Velocity teat dip. 

POST-DIPPING: Immediately after milking, dip each teat with Velocity. Allow teats to air dry. Do not wipe. If outside temperature is below freezing, allow to air dry on the teat before the cow leaves the parlor to prevent freezing. 

Storage And Handling Section


STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Store this product in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid deterioration. Keep containers closed to prevent contamination of this product. Keep from freezing. Thaw completely and mix thoroughly before use.
