1 INDICATIONS AND USAGE Fluoxetine is indicated for the treatment of: Acute and maintenance treatment of Major Depressive Disorder [see Clinical Studies ( 14.1 )] . Acute and maintenance treatment of obsessions and compulsions in patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2 )]. Acute and maintenance treatment of binge-eating and vomiting behaviors in patients with moderate to severe Bulimia Nervosa [see Clinical Studies ( 14.3 )] . Acute treatment of Panic Disorder, with or without agoraphobia [see Clinical Studies ( 14.4 )]. When using fluoxetine and olanzapine in combination, also refer to the Clinical Studies section of the package insert for Symbyax. 16 HOW SUPPLIED/STORAGE AND HANDLING 16.1 How Supplied Fluoxetine tablets USP, 10 mg are available as blue, oval shaped, film-coated tablets, plain on one side and debossed β7188β and scored on the other side and debossed β9β (scoring) β3β. They are available in bottles of 30 (NDC 0093-7188-56), 100 (NDC 0093-7188-01), and 1000 (NDC 0093-7188-10). Fluoxetine tablets USP, 20 mg are available as white, oval shaped, film-coated tablets, debossed with βTEVAβ on one side and scored on the other side and debossed with β08β (scoring) β07β. They are available in bottles of 30 (NDC 0093-0807-56), and 100 (NDC 0093-0807-01). 16.2 Storage and Handling Store at 20Β° to 25Β°C (68Β° to 77Β°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. Protect from light. Dispense in a tight, light-resistant container as defined in the USP, with a child-resistant closure (as required). KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
