1 INDICATIONS AND USAGE Dexmethylphenidate Hydrochloride Tablets are indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD ) [see Clinical Studies (14) ]. Dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets are a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant indicated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) ( 1 ).

16 HOW SUPPLIED/STORAGE AND HANDLING Dexmethylphenidate Hydrochloride Tablets are available as follows: 2.5 mg blue, round, biconvex tablet, debossed with "11" on one side and "RP" on the other side. Bottles of 100 NDC 42858-011-01 5 mg yellow, round, biconvex tablet, debossed with "14" on one side and "RP" on the other side Bottles of 100 NDC 42858-225-01 10 mg white, round, biconvex tablet, debossed with "17" on one side and "RP" on the other side Bottles of 100 NDC 42858-410-01 Store at 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. Protect from light and moisture. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. Dispense in a tight, light-resistant container as defined in the USP, using a child-resistant closure. Disposal Comply with local laws and regulations on drug disposal of CNS stimulants. Dispose of remaining, unused, or expired dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets by a medicine take-back program or by an authorized collector registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration. If no take-back program or authorized collector is available, mix dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets with an undesirable, nontoxic substance to make it less appealing to children and pets. Place the mixture in a container such as a sealed plastic bag and discard dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride tablets in the household trash.
